Doug Filzek
President
Doug has owned Hydraulic Parts Source and acted as President since 1996. He is the driving force behind the HPS mission of speed and customer satisfaction. He keeps a constant focus on improving the business to be more efficient and finding the best staff available to serve customer needs. He motivates the team to maintain a high level of integrity in all that they do, to always do right by customers, and to be the best company in our market.
As a lifelong resident of Michigan, Doug attended Lawrence Technological University before starting a family and opening the business. He’s been happily married to his wife for many year, and they have 5 children together. He enjoys golfing and spending time with family.

Cory Gilbert
CEO
With a personal goal of taking care of the customer at all costs, CEO Cory Gilbert has been a driving force behind the high level of customer satisfaction at Hydraulic Parts Source since 2009. Cory has a “whatever it takes” attitude and helps maintain a customer service team that is accountable, honest, efficient, and hard-working. One of the first things you’ll learn about Cory in his professional life is his belief that “customer relationships are everything.”
Cory is a graduate of Alma College with a degree in Finance and Marketing. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is a sports fan who also enjoys golfing in his free time.

John Garbarino
Sales & Marketing Manager
John has decades of experience in manufacturing / industrial working directly in fluid power. He knows the ins and outs of the hydraulics industry well, and from different perspectives, making him uniquely qualified to bring value to HPS’ customers.
John and his wife, Gail, are proud of their two grown children who are successful in their own fields. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, cooking, and playing pickleball.

Bobby Kerr
Account Representative
Bobby joined Hydraulic Parts Source as an Account Representative to serve our customers with his years of expertise in the hydraulics industry. Originally from New Castle, PA, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University and a master’s from Westminster College. Known for his personable nature and dedication to customer needs, Bobby prides himself on strong communication and accountability, ensuring clients receive top-tier service.
Outside of work, Bobby stays active by playing golf, refereeing varsity basketball, and target shooting. With many years coaching high school and college basketball, he values teamwork and leadership—qualities that carry over into his role at HPS.

Brian Hamlin
Account Representative
A Native Michigander, Brian is a graduate of Michigan State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Advertising. He is an expert in industrial sales, with a long history in process control equipment, instrumentation and filtration. He’s dedicated to developing strong relationships built on trust and is driven to take care of every customer need.
Brian grew up in Mason, Michigan. He’s remained a resident in the Greater Lansing area, including his time in East Lansing as a proud Spartan, and now resides back in his hometown. Besides being a big Spartans fan, Brian enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and friends.

Bryan Laubach
Customer Service
Bryan has spent most of his career in the hydraulics industry, with a long tenure at HPS. He attended Vickers Hydraulic Training and brings an immense knowledge of the field to our sales and service team. Customers often compliment Bryan as trustworthy, knowledgeable, extremely detailed, and fast at getting answers to customers – especially at critical times. We’re proud to be able to count on Bryan to handle any situation.
Bryan hails from Macomb Township, Michigan. He loves music, cars, and Star Wars collectibles.

Tamika Garner
Customer Service
With decades of customer service expertise, Tamika knows the importance of having positive interactions with customers, creating a lasting impression by handling each of their needs with friendliness and care. Tamika is committed to the satisfaction of her customers and is willing to go above and beyond to make this happen.
Tamika was born and raised in Detroit and has spent most of her life in Clinton Township, Michigan. She is extremely family oriented and spends lots of time with her sister, niece, nephew, and especially her mother, who is one of her neighbors. Tamika enjoys reading, traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and is an avid sports fan.

Servo/Prop Repair Coordinator
Billieann has 4 years of experience in the hydraulics industry, and prides herself on her organization and communication skills. She is someone customers can depend on to follow through, keep things moving smoothly, and handle challenges calmly.
Billieann is from Marine City, a little town on the water in Michigan. She has a large family and a teenage daughter. She enjoys travel and reading in her spare time.

Debbie loves her role as a customer service representative, as it allows her to showcase her greatest assets authentically and professionally. She gives a full 100% when assisting and working with HPS customers to achieve their goals.Debbie attended Oakland University and Chaminade University and grew up in Macomb, Michigan. She raised two boys and is proud of their success in business and IT. Debbie enjoys being in nature and creating closed ecosystems.
